Vegetable Fried Rice


Vegetable fried rice - Restaurant style 




Ingredients: 

Basmati Rice - 1 Cup (Cooked)
Onion - 1 Medium (Chopped)
Vegetable - 1 Cup (Chopped)
[Vegetable bowl contains: Carrot, Beans, Cabbage, Capsicum]
Garlic - 1 Tsp (Chopped)
Green Chili - 1 Tsp (Chopped)
Soy Sauce - 1 Tsp
Vinegar - 1 Tsp
Salt - To Taste
Black Pepper - 1 Tsp
White Pepper - 1 Tsp
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Fresh coriander leaves - To Garnish

Instructions: 

1. Soak one cup of Basmati Rice in water for up-to 15 minutes.
2. Drain the water and cook for 10 minutes. Don't completely cook the rice. Make it in a ratio of 80%
3. Add a tsp of cooking oil when rice gets boiled. It won't let the rice to stick together.
4. Strain the water and allow it to cool.
5. Heat a pan/wok to high flame and add in the oil.
6. Once its hot, add in the chopped garlic and green chillies.
7. Then add roughly chopped onions.
8. Once slightly cooked, add in the veggies and cook for 2 minutes.
9. Add salt, black pepper, white pepper, soy sauce, Vinegar and mix well.
10. Add in the rice and stir well. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves. Serve Hot..!!

Notes: 

Cook in high heat. Use a wok insClick link for full video recipe tead of non stick pan.
Veggies should be crunchy. Do not over cook.
Rice must be half cooked only (80%)
